Nominations Open for CFOY Award


    Nominations are now open for Canada’s 2017 CFO (chief financial officer) of the Year (CFOY) Award. The CFOY is in its 16th year and honours senior financial leaders who have made significant contributions to business in Canada with demonstrated quality, insight, and integrity. Nominations can be made at and will close December 16. Candidates from any business sector may be nominated and must demonstrate the following award criteria: inspirational leadership, business performance, social responsibility, innovation, financial accountability, and mentoring and development. The award is presented by Financial Executives International Canada (FEI Canada), PwC Canada, and Robert Half, and its purpose is to recognize those who best exemplify the evolving role of the CFO, a strategic member of the C-suite. Previous recipients include Dean McCann, executive vice-president and chief financial officer, Canadian Tire Corp. Ltd. (2015).
